China Rips Off Hatsune Miku

So China’s not satisfied with ripping off Gundam, they have to rip off Yamaha’s iconic Vocaloid software mascot character, Hatsune Miku, as well.

I wonder if the creators of this Chinese Vocaloid rip-off are claiming that she’s an original design, just as the creators of the “Sichuan Gundam” claimed that theirs was an original design too?

Black Rock Shooter TV Series 6 Episode Analysis

I just got caught up with the Black Rock Shooter TV series up to episode 6 after taking a little break from watching anime.

The new Black Rock Shooter TV series tries to add substance to an anime property conceived and composed entirely of style.

The result is a TV series that has a somewhat disjointed presentation that attempts to mate Huke’s aesthetic to a melding of extreme and over-the-top action with a small scope soap operatic teenage school girl drama.
